This online questionnaire is designed to help us understand more about how you might approach different tasks or situations.

During this stage of the application process you are asked to respond to 72 statements that are set within the context of work, tasks or working with other people. You will be asked to rate how each statement best describes you. You do not require any specialist knowledge to rate the statements.

There is no set time limit for the questionnaire, but it should take no longer than 30 minutes to complete. Before beginning the questionnaire, please ensure that you have enough time and that you will be free from distractions.

You should not use your browser’s ”Back” or ”Refresh” buttons during the assessment. Please only use the ”Next” and ”Back” buttons at the bottom of the assessment pages to move between pages.

Wrote the personality/behavioral test around 2a.m this morning. Just got a success mail that i have been progressed to the second stage.
Thank you for your interest in a career with Shell. We are pleased to inform you that you have completed the first part of the online assessment. This notification provides you with the details of the second part, which you need to complete to continue your application.
You must complete this assessment within one week of receiving this email. If you fail to complete it within one week, we will assume that you wish to withdraw your application.Please take note of the following important information:
• This part of the assessment consists of two tasks: a decision-making task that assesses how you respond to common situations that Shell graduates may face, and a problem-solving task that assesses your capacity for solving numerical problems.• The decision-making task is not timed, but the problem-solving task has a set time limit of 18 minutes. In total, the test should take approximately 45 minutes to complete.• During the decision-making task, you can save your progress at any point and revisit the test by re-entering the same link that you will have been sent to access this page. However, as the problem-solving task is timed, you must complete this part of the test within the timeframe set.• You will need a computer with a reliable internet connection to take the online assessment.• Before you start the assessment, please make sure that you are somewhere safe and quiet, and that you have paper, a pen and a calculator at hand. Done the tests. For the problem-solving part, you have to be fast. 18 minutes for 16 questions. Just prepare and do the best you can, tables and err charts dem dem. Cheers.

The first stage isn't much of a problem......the questions asked are just to find out your person.........when questions are asked you are required to choose amongst these five options....

A..disagree
B..slightly disagree
C..neither agree nor disagree
D..slightly agree
E..Agree.....

While you make your choice you are also required to choose which of your answers best describes you and least describes your person....

You have to apply tact, be consistent with your answers and also be sincere...........

Like they said, they are behavioural questions. Just answer them honestly and smartly.

Just see yourself as the perfect employee when taking the behavioral test.

I think it takes just few hours. I applied around 6pm yestaday and I got the assessment link @nyt (9pm or thereabout).
