1. Always post on topic. Do not derail or tribalize threads. = Very Good

2. Don't abuse, bully, deliberately insult/provoke, fight, or wish harm to any Nairaland member. => Good

3. Don't advocate or encourage violent actions against any person, tribe, race, or group of people. = Very Good[/b]

4. intimate discussions must be restricted to the hidden sexuality section. = [b]Its very Welcome


5. Don't post pornographic or disgusting pictures or videos on any section of Nairaland. = Very Very Good

6. Don't post adverts or affiliate links outside the areas where adverts are explicitly allowed. = Good

7. Don't say or do anything that's detrimental to the success of Nairaland. = Very Good, Including the success of Nigeria

8. Don't post false information on Nairaland. = GBAM, Very much welcome

9. Don't use Nairaland for illegal acts, e.g fraud, piracy, and spreading malware. = Good

10. Don't expose the identity or post pictures of any Nairaland member without his/her consent. GOOD

11. Don't create distracting posts e.g. posts in giant fonts or ALL CAPS or with silly gifs. Very Good

12. Don't insert promotional signatures into your posts. Use the signature feature. Its a normal rule

13. Always report any post or topic that violates the rules of Nairaland. Good, na only once i don report

14. Always search the forum before creating a new thread on Nairaland. Good, No more waste of diskspace

15. Don't attempt to post censored words by misspelling them. Emmmm, E get as e be

16. Don't promote MLM schemes, HYIPS, or other questionable schemes on Nairaland. Very Good

17. Don't post anything that could be considered offensive to Islam, especially in the muslim section. emmmm, we should also have a rule like "Don't post anything offensive to Christianity. Whats good for the goose is good for the gander

18. Don't spam the forum by posting the same content over and over, to avoid being terminated. GBam, well accepted

19. Don't create a new account when banned for breaking a rule. If you do, make sure we don't find out. Good but emmmmmmm

20. Cooperate with the moderators, super-moderators, and administrator. Treat them with respect. Will some moderators also respect the members of NL?

21. Always post in proper English. The use of correct spelling, grammar and punctuation is compulsory. Kai, this means that some people will have to go back to English lesson class, i hope i will be able to type my igbo mixed with Yoruba and flavored with Hausa without provoking the mods and king kongs of NL.


Just my personal opinion, for me all the rules are good and acceptable but RULE 21 hmmmm. OGA Seun abeg no vex if we fail that RULE 21..
