You are right. they might be holding themselves out of fear or superstition or anything. They also might not have known each other before now. All these are unverifiable assumptions, so we have to go with the easier and more rosy one which brngs us back to LOVE

This is not the first time, these NL mods are doing this sort of a thing, so they are very good at it.
