This is interesting:

The company plans to establish additional 11 stations to bring the total
stations to 20 in Nigeria in 2008. Its strategy in the Nigerian market emphasizes localisation
of programme content complemented with a national network at specific
periods that should provide improved advertising revenue. It also intends to start
digital transmission in 2008 with specialised channels for movies, entertainment,
sports and news to compete in the market segment currently dominated by DSTV
and HiTV. The company hopes to generate subscription revenue via this platform.

There are forces in Nigeria that normally stops such ambitious projects and DAAR may not be an exception.
