Nothing like the best Nigerian film until I release my own film.
The best is yet to come in Nollywood and Kannywood or Yorubawood.

The problem is most Nigerians don't appreciate that we're moving forward.

If we don't appreciate our own stuffs, who will?

Izu Ojukwu is getting up there. One of the few creative directors we have in Nigeria.

This is another one of the reasons why I hate it when some threads I love make the front page. They end up attracting senseless comments from idle teenage chaps just looking to boost their post count.
SMH.

Izu Ojukwu
Kunle Afolayan
Obi Emelonye

These three are my favorite new age directors that might just completely change my impression of Nollywood.

...although The Mirror Boy... Was. Not. Good.

Impressive! The brains behind the movie really did their research/homework. Unlike other Bollywood videos, the uniforms looked authentic. Well done Nollywood.

speedyboi:

That's due to budget constraints. A typical 'New Nollywood' won't have a release date (those that have may not keep up with it). Probably cos, they don't wanna rush it......And its better that way! until everything is perfect, don't release smiley
you say perfect in nollywood movies? Hahahahaha u make me laf, even if they stay upto 10yrs b4 releasing a movie it wl stl be dt same old crap.

semid4lyfe: Didn't watch this particular trailer so I'm not sure if it's still the same but here's my comments from a previous thread on the first trailer cut. Then it was still titled Lions of 76
Oga Semid, na the same film. They changed the name.
