This MTK6589 is a SoC chip using the latest 28mm achitecture and is built using the ARM Coxtex A7 which is known to consume less power. This cheap is not power hungry. A 1800 battery on this screen resolution running on MT6589 is still good battery. This phone IMO is far better than other cheap Android phones that recently floaded our market. THL, I have known them for more than 3 years now and they have over 200 centres accross China, the largest single smartphone market in the world.

So apart from the band, this phone is a bang. Hope this helps.

if ur phone model has support from XDA Developers, then it is a great device. Tecno need to up their game as l posted earlier. June and July 2013 will determine if Tecno will continue the accent to Smartphone Eldorado.

the guys at XDA Developers are not even aware of the brand TECNO, in fact the name TECNO exist only in Africa, but we are still proud of them though.

lol thl is in nigeria already now . if you cant find it in cv you can find it anywhere else . though i know one tech blogger that intriduced me to the phone and he claims to have ordered the phone. the guy is trust worthy but try and go to him with your money ..i will dig his link and post it later
