Nigeria health index is one of the worst in the world. Many people blame doctors but i blame pharmacists who produce or import fake drugs. I also blame medical laboratory scientists who manufacture test results and prescribe drugs. I blame doctors for training auxilliary nurses. I blame various allied health professionals who prescribe drugs and complicate health problems . I blame pathologists who allow mls to take over their jobs as laboratory director(CAP,CLIA 88). I blame doctors for not setting good example. In this country senior doctors lookdown junior doctors and allied health workers.
To get it right in our health sectors we should america ,canada, australia or norway health care model. Health administrators( from any profession) head health institution, pathologists direct medical laboratories, surgeons direct surgery department etc. Position of surgeon-general should be created in both federation and states.
I hope we would get
there.

I blame the government for failing to equip their hospitals and subsdising healthcare for the poor masses.
