M.I Launches 'Talk About It' Democracy Campaign by aburo7: 2:52pm On May 29, 2013 |
As part of 14 years of Nigeria's Democracy day,Chocolate City rapper M.I has decided to launch an initiative,"Talk about it-The MADC (miabaga.com)campaign for a better Nigeria. It’s wonderful we’ve made it this far and while we glory in the fact, we recognize that to make any more progress, things will have to change. We believe a great way to start is to get us talking about where we are, and where we need to be’, M.I said. To get involved in this campaign, young and creative Nigerians are required to express their opinions about Nigeria by logging on to his website www.miabaga.com/2.0/talkaboutit or tweet their thoughts on a better Nigeria to @miabaga_dotcom with hashtag #TalkAboutIt. Good news. I know the first step is talking about it but then what next? We Nigerians need a mission statement if not, it will be like another waste of time. You feel me. We all want a better Nigeria and the best deal on the table right now is to have a hit squad that will rid the country from our corruptible fathers. 1 Like |

Nigeria born a baby in 1999, his name is DEMOCRACY. This baby sat for a WAEC. Kindly look at his WAEC result in all his nine subjects: POVERTY. B2 EDUCATION E8 GOOD ECONOMY. F9 UNEMPLOYMENT. A1 SECURITY. F9 GOOD GOVERNANCE. F9 AGRICULTURE D7 CORRUPTION. A1 ELECTION MALPRACTICE. A1 Can a good parent still celebrate the performance of this poor boy? To me ooo, I don't think this DEMOCRACY result worth of celebration yet... What about you ? Is dis result okay by _U ? 2 Likes |

In 1985 when IBB was the President of Nigeria and our teachers told us that Buhari was the former president... Our teacher also called us leaders of tomorrow. 27 years on, IBB and Buhari are still contesting for President! It's either our teacher lied to us about being the leaders of tomorrow or maybe tomorrow hasn't come! Happy Democracy Day 6 Likes |

Talk about it? As if we haven't been talking about "it" for years! The time for talking has been long past. I'm still waiting to join a Middle-East like revolution where the old men "at the top" are all sacked and chased away for good! |
