Kirk I knew way back in the UK, as a Top OAP on the popular Choice FM... he only came to Nigeria a few years ago when the Radio station made him an offer he could not refuse.

Very lovely personality with a lot of class and respect to him.

Rest In Peace the deep baritone voice of the airwaves....

Damn..... what a pity the good ones leave so early....

I will surely miss him.....

RIP once again....

Anthony was born in London to Jamaican parents, and known to many radio listeners for his distinguished baritone voice. His radio career spanned over 25 years and he was there at the birth of Choice FM, Britain’s first independently run black owned radio station with a licence back in March 1990 .

So so SAD, I just tuned online to listen to LATE NIGHT BLUES
(REGGAE)and don't seem to understand what the RADIO station
SMOOTH FM 98.1 Lagos is playing 'cos I left Lagos a week ago
the only option is to listen online. Just taught I should scan what is
happening in Naija, NAIRA-LAND wise then saw SHOCKING TOPIC
on the demise of "KIRKY". All Late night blues Fans know him
as such. He's a JAMAICAN but raised in CANADA,great guy with a
unique baritone voice. One of blessings on SMOOTH FM 98.1,sunday
mornings he presents "smooth motivations". May his gentle soul
rest perfect peace with the LORD Amen. God, I just can't believe KIRK is DEAD
