Orient Foundation Trust (OFT) is an encompassing, proactive, non-governmental organization focused on creating awareness, getting the good and credible candidates to participate in elections and voters security. OFT covers election monitoring, legal issues, programs and documentation, publicity and media relations about elections, election debates, institutional duties and code of conducts. OFT Committee is mandated to restore democratic discipline and legal compliance in elections in the Anambra State and it is authorized to take measures to create a level playing field for all candidates in the governorship race regardless of their political affiliation. OFT is based in Awka, Anambra state.


Job Title: 0FT Monitoring & Evaluation Officer Job Code: OFT-MEO
OFT seeks an M&E officer who will be responsible for the development and implementation of a framework that enables complex monitoring of the project, tracking changes and analyzing results using statistical data and graphical representations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Program Support:
High level participation in the project M&E activities to achieve the objectives of the democracy and good governance project and the organization’s strategic objectives.

The M&E officer shall:
• Development of monitoring and evaluation plans/frameworks, baseline surveys and M&E tools as well as develop appropriate analysis tools for M&E, and information gathering systems to input into program process, outcome and impact measurement
• Assist the organization to document, analyze and review their work systematically and prepare satisfactory reports, case studies and examples of best practices.
• Provide feedback to organization based on quarterly monitoring and evaluation reports and analysis of impact data received on a monthly basis
• Lead on baseline survey, internal mid-program review and external end of program evaluations & perform any other task as assigned by the Executive Director.


QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• Minimum 2 years development experience, with at least 2years experience working on governance programmes of back-donor funded programs preferably in the area of Accountable Governance and Election programmes
• Experience in the management, evaluation and monitoring of projects
• Excellent computer skills using word processing programs at a highly proficient level
• including ability to operate spreadsheets for data analysis using graphical representations and statistical data and word processing programs at a highly proficient level

Minimum academic qualification:
B. Sc Degree in statistics or any of the social sciences or related fields.

Job Title: OFT Program Manager Job Code: OFT-PM
The Program manager will be responsible for the management of the program. He/She will work and as well provide support to community groups and will work closely with the Project team and other staff.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Program Support:
 Responsible for program management and delivery of the projects.
 Management of technical staff responsible for the delivery of projects including support to staff development that assists the achievement of program objectives
 Ensuring effective allocation and utilization of resources for programming support of program objectives
 Coordinating official reporting to Partners/ Donors.
 Supporting coordination initiatives at Community, LGA and State level
 Ensuring that lessons learnt and materials from the program are disseminated widely.
 Identify areas of staff development that will assist all staff to contribute to the achievement of program objectives.
 Undertake supervisory functions to ensure effective delivery of projects.
 Develop proposals for funding with members of the project team
 Reviewing the status reports of team members across projects and addressing issues as appropriate.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• The candidate should have a university degree and relevant development experience and should possess
• Relevant skills in the facilitation and organisation of workshops.
• Advanced, presentation skills and at least 3 years of experience working in an NGO.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Knowledge of local language or culture of the key communities,
• Good interpersonal skills, highly motivated and flexible,
• Experience in capacity building and organizational development work with NGOs/CBOs,
• Computer literate,
• Capable of working both independently (with little or no supervision) and as part of a team.
