Nigerian Polytechnics Still On Strike ? by Kingclickmedia: 8:51am On Jun 10, 2013
Polytechnics in Nigeria is on strike for past 1 month or more. I'm a student of Delta State Polytechnic Ogwashi-Uku (DSPG). I have been calling/chatting with my schoolmates to know how far but they told me that they don't hear any news about the strike. I asked my friend, he is a student of Federal Polytechnic Oko (still at home) but he told me that he doesn't hear any news about that too. I don't even see a news concerning this on the internet or here on Nairaland, I only found this thread => https://www.nairaland.com/1289831/fg-reaction-asup-strike-polytechnics but it seems not updated or maybe they need to tag it on the frontpage (again) ? (i'm now thinking that government is not aware of this so called strike). This thing bothers me alot cos I don stay @home tire. I just finished my first semester exams and needs to continue my second semester. This is why I created this thread, any idea based-on this ?

You better go and get a part time job, the strike may last for six month or more.
