pls, i need help am using EOD 2005 model i discover dat the engine oil is always short after some km drive. i use mobile engine oil for service and i ave check around the engine no linkage and it not somking. i call my mechanic to check, he check it and said may be will chande d enginr oil. pls what will do i need ur advise expert.[/color][color=#990000][/color][color=#000099] |

CONSIDER THESE POSSIBLE AREAS DEAR, ONE, THE ENGINE OIL MAY BE SEEPING OUT EITHER ON TO THE GROUND, IF IT IS A BAD COMBUSTION THEN THERE WILL BE BLACK SMOKE. OR THERE IS A SLUDGE IN THE ENGINE. |

Good thread. Been wondering about this myyself. i drive a 2005 accord 4cyl auto. i'm using the total 20w50 oil, my car doesn't emit smoke nor is there leakage. But the oil burns really fast this days, though i ake long trips regularly. Does this long trips affect the oil making it burn quickly or is it from the oil used??. The car's mileage is above 100k miles. |
