Do labour laws damage employers?
In Kenya ,a new labour laws give three months paid maternity leave for women and male employees will also be given 14 days of paternity leave.

The laws also includes work injury benefits and insurance cover for all workers. Employers have rejected the new law arguing it is a huge financial burden for them

My office gives 6 months maternity leave with full pay and half pay after that
and gives dads 1 month with full pay to dads,,,,

every company has a different policy with regards to this but the fact is maternity leave shd be given or you'd be discriminating against married women with kids

So many companies in Africa dont give maternity leaves and some of them resist from married woman because of maternity leaves

thats discrimination,,, the same as racial or gender discrimintion
