I dont know his true age ... but check ur stat ... its very possible. If as at when u were in JSS1 and he is playing under 17 (lets assume he was 14yrs as at then). 14 to 20 is 6yrs after. Were you not suppose to be in Uni 6yrs after ur JSS1 class or na 10 yrs u wan take write Jamb b4 u get admission?

Bobbystanley:

Omeruo is quite young and has all it takes to succeed. As for oboabona,I didn't watch him in any youth competition and I dnt know much abt him tho.Mikel Obi is just a lucky guy and we know he isn't 25 as he claims.
Compare mikel of U-20 world cup in 2005 bk in Netherlands and the current mikel and u will see that he can't even run but the likes of Lionel messi and fabregas,di maria and many more who also played in dat tournament improve on daily basis

This Ajagun, Egbedi and few others that has been playing this tournament for the 2nd or more times, are they age static? So the coaches has nothing new to offer? Where are the real under 20's? Obuh is in same class as Ladan Bosso and other incompetent coaches, as far as am concern.

Bobbystanley: Age factor is one major problem that has killed Nigerian football..the likes of
Chrisantus
Ramon Azeez
Stanley Okoro
Ajiboye
And most fantastic guys dat won the U-17 world cup back in 2007 and also got to the final of the 2009 edition hosted in our own country..after the tournament u will never hear their names again because the played those tournament wit dia last strength.
See Sunday Mba said he is 23years wen we all know dat he should be in his late 30's.

In conclusion,Let's just be realistic about age because we've got the talents accross the country and we need scouts to discover them..thanks

you dont hear about them because of corruption, after the tournament some of them had injuries because the NFA cares less and they weren't playing good clubs who could take care of them, most of them disappeared to oblivion.
secondly, the NFF influence the choice of players, if you don't bribe, you don't get the slot.

Tell me, how did Mikel and Taiwo make it to the super eagles after their junior tournaments?
lemme guess, one went to chelsea the other went to Marselle, gud clubs huh!

spenx084: No Brazil for the second time?Brazil is really dead and gone in youth football.

Because they are no age-cheats. many of these countries that qualified falsify their players ages.
