Due to the report from national metrological center that flooding will be deadlier this year. So in that effect i call upon all stakeholders in the garri republic to support a state of emergency on its production and storage to avert any highrise of garri sales again.
Pls all Garri consumers, producers, exporters and importers should not neglect this issue.

Just after the floods last year,the price of nigeria's most staple food went up astronomically,its now N600 for 1 custard rubber,pls minister of agriculture,pls........#team garri

When its been said that the flood last year would affect food production this year, at an event after the flood, the minister of agric, Dr. Adeshina said the flood will not affect food production but an ordinary man on the street knows the adverse effect of the flood on the nation's food production which already is not even up to demand. Concerned stakeholders need to wake up to the challenge of feeding the growing population of the nation.

I just heard that the commander-in-chief of Federal Republic of GarriLand have set up committee which will delegate over this on the next meeting at the Food House of Assembly. Lets hope the meeting turn out well.
