Which Tablet Should I Go For? by Nobody: 8:51am On Jun 29, 2013 |
I want to buy an affordable Tablet (not more than #100,000) and these are the basic features I would love it to have; Long battery life, not less than 6hrs Sim Card Use Making and receiving of calls without problems Memory card use Compatibility with Phones and computers Reliable customer care service in Lagos Good RAM of about 4GB Effortless streaming of videos without buffering Camera Mega Pixel of 5-8MP; front and back camera Compatibility with a keyboard case Generally, a Tablet I can use to surf the internet, watch/stream movies online without problems, take high quality pictures, skype etc. Not really for any "serious" work. I'm thinking towards Android, but I would love to get first hand experience from people that have used or still use any of these Tablets. Can anyone here recommend one for me with the specifications and price? And also the best affordable network (GLO, MTN, ZAIN, ETISALAT) to go with it. No Marketers please. Just people with first hand experience. Thanks. |

Perhaps the Samsung Note is a good choice, my problem with it is that it doesn't have a regular USB port. You won't be able to directly transfer content from a flash drive. If you weren't particularly bent on android I would have recommended the Lenovo Thinkpad 2. It has mobile broadband, USB ports(3.0 I think) and runs on Windows 8, an OS that many desktop users are familiar with. Its practically a full PC in tablet form. Problem though is its steep $800 price. |

There is the Asus Transformer Pad Infinity. In addition to the features you listed it has a USB port. Price is less than the Thinkpad 2 - somewhere around $400-$500, i.e still within your 100K budget EDITED |

The Dell latitude is a good tablet for a good buy. Also it is important to get authentic Dell tablets and laptops, and with the Jumia/Dell partnership you can be rest assured to get the best Dell laptops and tablets. |
Re: Which Tablet Should I Go For? by Bawss1(m): 9:37pm On Jul 03, 2013 |
^ That's a weak sales pitch right there. Provide reasons why people should go for Dell tablets. What are its features, what OS does it run on, stuff like that and not because of some partnership with Jumia. |

Re: Which Tablet Should I Go For? by bellong: 10:24am On Jul 19, 2013 |
bettymafy: I don't know if they have. I think GT card can pay on Amazon. If you have one, you can use for the payment also if you have a friend to ship to in US. Amazon do not ship electronics to Nigeria. When you are ready, maybe we can find a way around it on how you can get it. |
