Great Nation by Timi Dakolo is the best and greatest song so far in Nigerian music. In musical composition and rendition no other Nigerian song is better or greater and even in live performance, Timi is miles ahead of other Nigerian singers of today. And PLEASE, don't compare him to the others of his generation, because they don't have it. And as I always say, you cannot give what you don't have. You can only fake it. Majority of them are even intellectually re-tarded and copycats of American hip hop. They will copy and steal American hip hop songs and tunes and then dub them in their own local ditties without giving credit to the original sources. These fake artistes know themselves and their producers know better. But Timi is an honest composer, song writer and singer. His lyrics have depth and his voice is awesome. He sings from his heart, soul and spirit. He is a blessing to Nigeria and to the world. Yet his best is still coming and I know that he will live up to the expectations of those who know and appreciate real music and not the junk called Nigerian hip hop.
