Thy spirit, I plead, thy spirit,
In weariness, let me replenish strength
When my foes advance, that I bear it
Thy word, at the ready, in its sheath;
Whether it is that I kneel or stand
Be always near and answer my cry
As I thirst, your ways, to understand
Please bear me up and help me try
These grueling hours of till and ill
Let me find thy spirit and give
My fears and doubts up for thy will
And be steadfast that I may live

Alone
Alone, and beyond searching eyes
Far away in the woods; where no eye pries;
I'd journeyed the world for a place like this
Where time stands still when lovers kiss

The sky beams with stars' twinkling light
'Tis a time for our two hearts to unite

The night we'd hoped is here, starlit
The hues of your eyes are bright, moonlit
No better place, there is, for a tryst with you
Its wind, so tender, our love renew.

i feel clear and understanding words should be your focus but it should be metaphoric anyway.

In this piece I just wanted to paint a superficial imagery, clear and comprehensible.
