Emmanuel Alayande College of Education, Oyo is now turned to an hunting ground which police officers shots students like animals and arrests many of them while trying to escape the onslaught of the policemen! The crisis was as a result of hike in school fees for both degree and NCE's students! As at time of this report,at least two students have been shot dead while three are critically battling to stay alive! Many of the students are being arrested arbitrarily from their hostels to the garrage! More details to follows. Is there any hope for common man in Nigeria?

Oyo town was today turned into a chaotic town when police men went on rampage shooting and arresting students after a peaceful protest. two students has been confirmed dead and several others injured by the police utme the media here in Oyo state are not reporting the news as it was. Presently, many of the students are still in police custody. Human right activist should pls wake up and do something to save the situation.

mod, this should be on the frontpage, no media house in Oyo state is ready to broadcast the news as it was. The situation needs prompt attention. The is pure abuse of human right., students including half dress females were dragged out of their rooms, anybody dat dress like a student were bundled into their patrol van.

there is no source for now becos the state owned media are still blackmail the news but if you have anybody in Oyo town, they will tell you something about it. So pathetic reaction from our supposedly trained policemen.

I don't know why some rudderless simpleton, and obvious street urchins without an aota of learned vocabulary come here to display their stack Ignorance at its apex, I am embarrased even if U not... U should take some keen introspective view into urself and try to correct some real and obnoxious Ignorance that has riddled ur wholes self.....

Next time If u dont understand simple Vocabulary used by the learned, I think U should humbly ask, and I might b lenient enough to expatiate.

@ Topic, sorry latter I shall come back to deliberate on the issue at hand, at the moment, this silly guy just pissed me, by insulting me unprovokingly

The arrests that were made was for revenue collection imagine that!About 37 students & some outsiders were arrested arbitrarily!Bail is indeed free in an ironical way to our uncultured men in black,it was extortion galore;4rm 1office 2d other b4 paying 'the official bail money'!More to come

The media failure to report the straws of the protest & killing of student(s) shows where we're going in Nigeria! It's a shame on Bode Durojaye of The Nation & The Nigeria Tribune's Oluwatoyin Malik for potraying student in bad light!Imagine:"no student died";"no hike in school fees"!God rewards 'your half truth',a whole lie!
