No offense but absolute rubbish, this is not how you do your own statistics. The rating is simply based off people who are "LITERATE" over the population. When you calculate %, what has the baseline got to do with your calculation? Same way you calculate poverty, wealthy, men/women, unemployment, and whatever benchmark it is, same rule applies. If Zimbabwe were 160million, it will remain be 90% over because the country spends resources on educating their people on reading/writing.

SE Nigeria has >92% literacy. If we were a country we would be highest in Africa.
