Ur flour may not be enough, then check d quantity of liquid u add 2 ur cake, lastly, stop bakin with simas, bake with topper or any other nice brand. Hope these tips works. |

You are probably adding too much butter or your flour is not upto the right quantity. I had this same problem when I newly started baking till I realised I was using X2 of the supposed quantity of butter. Secondly, there is nothing wrong with simas butter. Though I no longer use it, I use Topper now because of its special flavour but that doesn't mean Simas is bad. The only problem I have with Topper is that it's just too strong and if you are mixing with hand, u go hear am wella. |

wow...!! thanks dgurl. jst saw ur response now ur response is very helpful. is it ideal to use for eg 50g sugar 50g butter & 50g flour. thats how i measure mine. thanks |

melek: wow...!! thanks dgurl. jst saw ur response now Depends on you. If I use the same quantity of butter and sugar (which is supposed to be the right thing), my cake will be too sugary so I reduce the quantity of sugar. 2 Likes |

now that's a bit tricky. increasing the flour might make Ur cake dry. but still test it out. I use simas butter occasionally and haven't experienced the problem u described |

thanks very much u'all. u were of great help. I was able 2correct d issue. 1st i used topper 2bake, reduced my liquid & baked a bit longer. |
