A report reaching us states that the just concluded PUME exercised by the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, has not been fully released. The examination written on the 18th and 19th of July 2013 and the results released on the 22nd of July 2013 confirms that some prospective students have not seen their results.
The authorities involve in the exercise have not given any information about the un released results.
Some candidates who express their grievances, stated that when they try to check their results it shows "PUME Result Details Not Found" a number of reasons were given for the predicament. That they didn't shade their Registration number or form number properly. When asked, the candidates professed that their registration numbers were already shaded for them and that if it were form number their names would appear in the search engine so as to help them view their results with incomplete details. The second reason is that they maybe a second choice candidate; which most of them are not. The third reason is that they were involved in examination malpractice- after what happend last year-the leakage of the question papers, the institution tried as much as they could for the mistake not to occur again. They also said that the examination was very tight for them; that they don't think any malpractice was recorded.
Please we plead on their behalf that their results should be released, especially, those that wrote at JIMBAZ Rm. 301 last floor ie Law candidates.
