you can programme CDMA lines like starcomms visafone and multilinks on the iphone, jst take it to any of their offices and get it done there is a guy that can even do that for you on nairaland.
that is what my brother is using with 5-7k they will program it for you.
you make call at cheaper rate and enjoy full speed internet with visafone.

Not really sure about this programming of visafone, multilinks etc into a galaxy cdma phone; but if it is possible, for me, I think data based and not hours or time slots (as it is this CDMA providers) is the best internet-usage for mobile devices. Also Sim cards are more versatile as u can shift to any network that has the best offer at any present time. You are not tied to one for life, even when their network is messing up or they suddenly change their tarriff to something exorbitant; you cant switch.

Anyway, I am interested in your merchandise, will like to use it as a portable samall-tablet media device to take around and browse with it at home through wifi. I am offering 18k for it. Once one buys this device,it's does not have resale value, that is, will probably have to hold on to it even if I later buy something like an S4.

when You say CDMA, what does it mean?

Good question....it means it can not work on gsm network like mtn,glo,airtel and etisalat....you can only program cdma network on it......cdma network are visafone, starccom,multilink......some cdma phone has sim slot why some dont have. this is the little i know about cdma have a 9ice day

Check the model number of your device. If it is SGH-I535, which is Verizon model, then it can converted to GSM, any GSM network. If it is any other model it can still be configured for use with Visafone. Call, text and data working.
Regarding the distance, we can work something out, if you are really keen on it.
Let me know your decision.
