The first time i heard this song,. i think i almost cried. the words so beautiful as the tune. it's calming and soothing to me. when you get disappointed or you fail an exam or you lose someone or something, this song helps. it doesnt make it all go away, but it shares the pain and the feeling with you.

This song is shares some similarities with my first song reviwed, 'fix you', in the sense that it is inspirational too and can lift you up. but unlike fix you, this doesn't fit into a situation where you've lost someone, rather where you ave taken enough and you deserve better so you make a decision to leave. it could be a relationship, work, friendship, anything at all.

'when push turns to shove' means when it gets really bad, and thats when you know how strong you actually are, and you don't give it all up because you are broken or you've been defeated, rather you do because it is time to do that.

i dedicate this song to people in abusive relationships - and abuse isnt when you are being hit oo, its when you are treated less than you actually deserve.
