That's not the cockpit of a Nigerian Navy A109.....That's a Filipino AW109.

Pic 1: SAAF A109LUH......NAF A109s would look similar

It would look similar to ours, as far as i have it NAF/NN, SAAF,SAF and RNZAF all fly the same A109s and the cockpits all look very similar.

"KwaZulu-Natal - Eight suspected ATM bombers were killed on Saturday night in a shoot-out when Special Task Force officers intercepted them as they were travelling to Howick, apparently to blow up cash machines, the Hawks confirmed.

National Hawks spokesperson Brigadier Hangwani Mulaudzi on Sunday said that after the shoot-out, an R5 rifle, as well as three AK47s and four 9mm pistols were confiscated."

They just never learn. When you see or even sense special task force in the air....put your guns down

I am a Nigerian and I am surely jealous of the Southies for having probably the best special response police unit (STF) in all of Africa.

South African Special Task Force is one of the best trained police units world wide. Forget Africa. This is an internationally known fact, and goes beyond any small South African or Nigerian egos on this thread. Google it.

so when it comes to ego nobody do it better than you south Africans(we are best in everything) .

It is a specialised unit of a few men that deal solely with harderened thugs (cash in transit, hostage situation, atm bombers, highjackers etc). Numbers are far too small to bring down average crime rates, that is for the regular police. And no its not an irony, if the crime rate is high....would you not expect them to have some of the best/most real life operations in the world? Think about it.

Im talking about the majority of posters on this thread (nigerians and south africans)....egos aside, this is fact. You could have said Pakistan and New Zealand, my reply would have been the same.

That's a Tavor bro! My favourite carbine. Welcome to the club. The Tavor-21 is Africa's most widely used carbine.

That is either a CTAR-21 or an X-95. The list of countries carrying this iconic carbine has grown some more, as well as the GSU-Recce here are the others who extensively use the Tavor.

Nigeria

DSS (Nigerian secret police) - the Tavor-21 replaced the Uzi as the DSS primary Carbine in 2005.

Navy SBS - entered service in 2011

Nigerian Air Force Regiment - entered service in 2013

elements of Nigerian Army Airborne troops - 2015.

Nigerian immigration service - the Tavor-21 joined the immigration service in 2015.

Senegal

Senegalese Army Commandos

Tchad

Elements of Chad Special Anti-Terrorism Task Force.

Cameroun

Battalion d'Intervention Rapide (BIR)

Uganda

Elements of Ugandan Army Special Forces

Ethiopia

Ethiopian Presidential guards

Kenya

Elements of Kenyan elite GSU-Recces.

Angola

Army Special Forces.

It's a specialized unit... It doesn't do street policing. As you may have read, they intercepted 2 vehicles with gangs armed with automatic rifles, pistols and explosives.... These gangs are often ex guerilla fighters who have paramilitary training in either Zambia or Tanzania by Soviets instructors.

They're one of the bests units in the world because they execute their tasks with exceptional excellence. They killed 8 guys on a high speed chase and managed to walk home without a lost. If that's not excellency then I have no time to waste on your posts.

NB: The tittle "One of the Best Police Unit in the World" was not even something that came up with a South African, international documentaries by Western foreigners did.
