I won't get technical with this issue, but BBM is more secure and has more content. Do you know that every content you send through whatsapp can be accessed by the people at whatsapp in California?! No! It's not same for BBM, in fact LAI LAI! . Anyways, whatsapp has advantage because it is cross-platform. Lets wait till BBM goes cross platform then we will see if it lives or dies!
