I think it is wrong.

I have never hit a girl. And nothing would make me hit a girl. Besides, if you use the right words, you can inflict a lot more pain on women than any bow can.

I don't think I have threatened to hit a girl. (Maybe in the first year of school when I was 4 or so).

my ex girl was very hot tempered, she threw a bottle of guiness at me, scratched my car, tore my childhood pictures, if we had an argument, she'll throw anything she could find.
She knew i couldn't hit her, but one day i lost it and slammed her on the bed, she hit her head on the bed's headboard and she just lay there, still, since that day the only time i touch a girl is in bed!

One of the things that i would never do is raise my hands on a lady not to talk of my own girl, cos hitting her wouldn't solve the problem at hand but would just worsen the whole situation.
