Elijah Iretiola Ajanaku, estranged spiritual father of gospel singer, Tope Alabi was reportedly died of an undisclosed illness.

As the rumours of the death of Prophet Elijah Iretiola Ajanaku persists, the Ipaja-Ayobo location of the church has somewhat become deserted.

Our correspondent who visited the No. 17, Koya Akinwale Street, off Aina Obembe Street Ipaja Ayobo, Lagos property of the Christ Revival Victory Church, found the premises near-empty, with the few members around looking confused and lost; yet to make anything of the spreading death reports.

Although multiple sources say he is dead, on Monday, August 19, 2013, the church PRO, Tosin Kaleye denied the reports. ‘As I speak to you it has not yet been confirmed that daddy is dead…and you know it is not possible for somebody to be dead for three days without it being confirmed.’

Must we play politics with everything? If the man is dead, let it be announced to the public but releasing an unconfirmed reports about his death is like looking for cheap popularity and attention.Mr.PRO,pls call a spade, a spade.

Typical Naija church Goers. He just died and the church is already deserted. Now they will search for the next miracle performing pastor to call "Daddy".

Don't blame the church goers, blame the "Daddy" who made every thing in the church revolve around him.
