2. Bad wiring i.e using cable with smaller dimension for wiring that demands larger dimension.
3. Use of fake protective device (fuse,circuit breakers e.t.c)
4. Exposed wires coming in contact and causing a spark.

Please can you tell us what the state of the country has got to do with a billboard getting burnt, due to probably an electrical fault or even failure of the owners to emplace simple safety measures for the protection of the billboard.

I really pity some of the people here on Nairaland. Their minds have been so much filled with bitterness and unpatriotism to the extent that they see even the rumpled bed-sheets on their beds in their bedrooms as being a result of the state of the nation.
