What is special about the act of resurrection? This is Matthew 27: 49-55.

49 The rest said, Let be, let us see whether Elias will come to save him.

50 Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost.

51 And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;

52 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,

53 And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.

54 Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God.

55 And many women were there beholding afar off, which followed Jesus from Galilee, ministering unto him:

So upon Jesus's dead, many saints arose from the dead and went into the city where they were seen by many.

The question is; What became of these saints?

1) Did they also rise into heaven, like Jesus is supposed to have ascended into heaven?

2) Did they die a second time and are now buried somewhere in Israel/Palestine?

3) What sort of body do risen saints possess - flesh and blood like you and me?

4) Did they lead a "normal" life - got married, had children and talked to one and all about their experience of the "other" world?

From what I've heard, many. Just the other day I saw Douglas Adams strolling down the street, as large as life and without a care in the world. He was still as genial as before his death. Good guy.

Douglas Adams died of a heart attack at the age of 49 on 11 May 2001, during the rest period of his regular workout at a private gym in Montecito, California. He had unknowingly suffered a gradual narrowing of the coronary arteries, which led at that moment to a myocardial infarction and a fatal cardiac arrhythmia. Adams had been due to deliver the commencement address at Harvey Mudd College on 13 May.

His funeral was held on 16 May 2001 in Santa Barbara, California. Several friends and people he had worked with were in attendance. His ashes were placed in Highgate Cemetery in north London in June 2002.

Since you have faith in the resurrection of Douglas Adams, why not direct these your questions to him?

Can you try answering the questions on the main post about the resurrected saints and not preach?

There is a diffrence between ressurection and "not seeing death".Elijah was taken up to heaven by whirlwind,lazarus was brought back to life by Jesus,Dorcas was brought back to life too and a whole lots of others.one thing was standing out. . . .all by faith and the da power of God.BTW who are the so called ressurected saints?care to name names?

Did you read the verses above? Here they are again;

52 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,

53 And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.

The original authors does not give their names. I suppose the were too numerous to be individually named.

It does not matter what happened to these people.

God is a God of the living. No one is dead from His point of view.

They walked about having conquered death in Jesus mighty name. Haven't you heard of St. Germain. Or even Adam Monroe, aka Takezo Zensai. What was the name of that guy from Highlander? They are many many many.

If you want to know what happens to Adam Monroe don't miss Heroes Episode two.

As for the highlander I think we just got bored of too many sequels

Faith comes by hearing, and hearing the word of Douglas Adams. The Hitchhiker's Guide even tells us the meaning of life.

He wants to know what you think about the claims in your religion's book.

Wasn't it Claire that resurrected? Have they shown Adam dying? I can't really remember.

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a science fiction comedy. Fiction is not reality.

Did the resurrected saints ascend into heaven like Jesus? Or what happen to them?
