I kind of caught on afrobeats a little bit late because I didn't grow up naija. I grew on hiphop, jungle, 4x4, garage, grime, R&B, soul, jazz, rock & roll, bashment, pop, house music, Fela Kuti and other Nigerian greats like: King Sunny Ade, Ebenezer Obey, Victor Uwaifo and Shina Peters (via my parents). Just play any old school Shina Peters for me and I'll go nuts.

Anyway, the first afrobeats tune I really paid attention to was Tuface's "African Queen" and when 0ice dropped "Street Credibility," I started paying more attention. Still not 100% into it, but I do listen to a few tunes from time to time.

These are my top 10 in no particular order:

- 9ice: Street Credibility (if you want to see me go beserk, just play this tune)
- DaGrin: Pon pon Pon
- Dbanj: Suddenly (I used to listen to this tune everyday for like 6 months)
- PSquare: Ifunnaya
- PSquare ft Akon and May D: Chop my Money
- Dbanj: Oliver Twist
- Wizkid: Tease me
- Duncan Mighty: Obianuju

Honourable mentions: Iceprince ft Brymo: Oleku, Sauce Kid ft Davido: Carolina, Davido: Dami Duro, May D: Soundtrack etc..
