They earn this much yet the country's currency has no value. Visited Nigeria for 3 weeks,and spent over 3million naira and could not give a meaningful account of how that money was gone. If a country's currency is devalued then paying employees huge salary does not change a thing. Zimbabwe has a billion dollar currency also.

This is not true, The highest paid lecturer is not earning up to 700k per month. Maybe they are earning extra pay from part-prog, predegree, consultancy services and so on. Meanwhile lecturing is suppose to be included based on d incomes stated above cos the least paid lecturer GA is taking home ard 1.22m/annum while Profs are taking home ard 8.43m/annum.
