I had a similar experience like 2 days ago. Etisalat was wiping out my credit, i called their customer care line a young lady picked and told me i was browsing with the phone.I said of course i am on the BBC package. She said the sites i might be visiting could be the problem, i asked her since when did goal.com and nairaland start deducting credits, she said operamini is a third party application and hence it would deduct my balance. I countered that with the fact that when i do not have credit operamini still open pages. She immediately replied that she doesn't have anything on that and gave me the "thank you for using etisalat" crap and hung up.
I was shocked, i thought customer care reps aren't/weren't supposed to hang up on customers.

i called deir customer case dey said to call back in 24 hours if its not refunded.

Etisalat are thieves... Thank God I don't recharge my Etisalat sim again

nigeria customer care are not trained and not employable. they only make their way because of some oga at the top which is their connection. when they cannot help the next thing is thank you for choosing bla bla bla. thanking who? when you are already regreting for mistakenly choosing them. anyway i dont know what you guys are still doing there. come join the airtel family club.
