i used to be an ardent reader of James Hadley Chase novels, plenty thanks to my elder sister who really inspired me into reading his norvels, i cant forget my first bite of the novel "Tiger by the tail" very interesting book. I have read over 30 of his novels and i think my best include those involving Malik, a KGB agent, and Girland, a CIA agent, which includes:

1 This is for real

2 You have urself a deal

4 A whif of money

I have read almost all his books. My all time favourites are:
My laugh comes last
I'll bury my dead
There is always a price tag
What's better than money?
The vulture is a patient bird
The wary trangressors.

One thing about his novels is that, it will corrupt your mindset. You will also be a detective in the making.Lolzzzz.

I am a lady. Try and read all the ones I listed, you will enjoy them very much.
I'll bury my dead~ is the one that(I can't remember the man's name)when they told him his brother died,he so much believed that someone killed him and disguised as if he committed suicide. He contacted investigators,to look for his killers,to know why he was killed and at the same time pay the person back in his own coin. Will buy it again, someone took my copy and did not return it.
Make the corpse walk ~(I think his name is mr English)does not want his dead brother buried. He contacted talisman people to do the magic to make him come back to life.He thought his money can do it.

I have read all that you listed in you post. But, I did not enjoy'A WHIFF OF MONEY'

The way the cookies crumbles show the police at their best, I still doubt he wrote the comedy miss shawnway wave a wand. The way garland always outwits the tough KGB guy is always a treat for me always so these series are my favourite. I pity the protagonist in the World in my pocket( where the guy lost his life because of his luck charm necklace) I'm not sure about the title.

My all time best is 'Want To Stay Alive' The main character is Poke Toholo, a Seminole Indian. My best line was when the writer wanted to describe the character of Poke Toholo and he started with: "The Toholo families were catholics..." cool

Please can anybody tell me how to get the soft copies of all James Hardley Chase novels? Thanks

Uzor thanks for responding, the fact is, am actually looking for the soft copies cos it makes for easier reading these days. I can hardly carry hard copies around. I have equally searched online to no avail. Any link to where I can download it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again.
