As A Christian, Can You Foretell The Date, Time And Nature Of Your Death In This World?
Please, I am asking the question because I just watched a recorded sermon which was replayed today 8th September, 2013, on the cable TV.
This pastor said that, he is going to die on a Sunday, after delivering a powerful sermon then, he will get home, eat pounded yam and then die peacefully, without sickness or any form of trouble.
If this is possible, why didn't Jesus foretold the exact date and time of His death while He was on earth except the nature (kill)? Thank you.

Jesus own teaching concerning His death.

because he was teaching his disciples, "The Son of Man will be betrayed into human hands. They will kill him, but after being dead for three days he will be raised."

Why take such pastor serious,he was only being sarcastic.However its possible for God to show someone when he'll die but its rare.

You mean even to the extent of date and time? Well, when God told Hezekah that he was going to die, he didn't spelt out the time. God only told him to put his house in order because he was going to die.
2 Kings 20:1 "In those days Hezekiah became mortally ill. And Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz came to him and said to him, "Thus says the Lord, ‘Set your house in order, for you shall die and not live."
