[center]LOVING YOU WAS EASY. [/center] By a stroke of fate, I met you, And I knew immediately that there's something with you, Even though I tried to start a conversation with you, The opportunity never came for me so to do. And so I tactically asked about you, And someone offered to tell me a little about you, Telling me that I should be patient in all I do, That somehow I will get all I desired including you. And so I have to wait for 30 whole days And again you came across my ways Oh what a joy it is for me to recall those days When I have all the hope that you are here to stay. And like two hearts that have been love starved, My heart keep moving in the direction of yours, And even if this feeling can be halved, It is enough in half a million years. Just like we've met before in some cloudy paradise, We became best of friends amidst jealous counter paths, And gradually the love I have for you keep growing, Until it get to the peak and my tongue can't keep from flowing. It would have been to my shocking disbelief, If you had said you had no man or bereaved, So when you told me about your man, I took it that its a norm and prove no harm. But like a pack of cards or a bunch of cookies My world came crumbling and tumbling, When after all my pleas and bugging, You said you can't leave your man for anything. In as much as I agreed with your points and reasoning, I can't but let you know that my heart is aching, Tried as I could, I couldn't stop loving, And every night my dreams were always hunting. Loving you was so easy, Un-loving you has proved the most difficult, If only I could stop loving you, I would have done that a long time ago, And sincerely I wish I could never do so.
