A former Beverly Hills SWAT sergeant has
accused his then fellow officer of leering at
Whitney Houston's body and making
"inappropriate comments" while they were
at the scene of her death at the local Hilton
Hotel, reports the Los Angeles Times.
According to a claim Sgt. Brian Weir filed,
Det. Sgt. Terry Nuttall lifted the sheet
covering Houston's naked body "to an area
below the pubic region" and said things like,
"Damn, she’s still looking good, huh?" and
that she "looked attractive for a woman of
her age and current state."
The disturbing behavior "would outrage
ordinary family sensibilities," it states in the
claim. It also contaminated "potential DNA"
and harmed "the integrity of the scene."
Houston had been found in the bathtub of
her hotel room Feb. 11, 2012. An autopsy
report described the cause of death as
drowning with heart disease and cocaine as
contributing factors.
Weir also alleges that after he initially
reported the misconduct, he was retaliated
against — removed from his coveted
position in the SWAT and K-9 units, denied
promotions and overtime, and ostracized
and harassed.
