What Is The Benefit Of Traveling Abroad For Child's Birth? by amtheone(m): 2:23pm On Sep 19, 2013
Is it really necessary for one to travel abroad for child's birth?

Presently, a family is at the crossroads over this issue. The wife is insisting that she must travel abroad but, the husband is not comfortable with this development. The man point of view is that let the wife deliver here in Nigeria in the best hospital while the money that would have been used for such trip be used to plan for the child's future. The man is expected to bring 80% while the wife is planning to bring 20% of the money.

The wife point of view is that according to her friends who delivered abroad that it is safer and also attract other benefits.

Please what do you thing of this?

1 of the benefit, is citizenship. If you have your baby in the USA, your baby is a US citizen.

It all depends on their financial strength, U don't need to be a citizen of any other country to travel around the world. For an average man who struggles to make earn mean, if he can finance d trip, he's a good call if countries intended will grant d child automatic citizen, Not UK, Aussie and some few countries where ur child cant even be granted a citizen by place of birth.

To answer your question - better healthcare in oyibo hands, citizenship, to belong to the 'birth abroad' class and to enjoy fresh air jare as GEJ's promised fresh air isn't forthcoming.
