Hi my wonderful fellow nairalanders.
I'm the type that love to drink a lot of water, I take more than 4 litres per day but I always prefer warm water, hence I always have water inside my flask for mixing up, while some agreed that it's better than iced or ordinary water, some others believe that iced or ordinary cold water is better for drinking, so, I'm putting it to you good people............
Warm or iced or ordinary cold water, which is better for drinking?

Depends on the weather.

Cold water in summer/fall

Lukewarm ( room temp) water in Winter.

-Iced or ordinary Cold water: we are proned to cold water due to heat generated internally or externally as the case maybe when we are hot, or when we have been beaten by the sun, or after vigorous exercise, or when exhausted!

Sometimes feverish individual would prefer cold water to warm water.

-Warm water: This is the opposite of the scenarios surrounding cold water. We go for this when we are cold (catarrh)or during harmattan season!

This is also good in the morning.

All is to maintain eqilibrium of the body system!

As we all know, too much of cold water is not suitable for the system!

Warm water at ideal room temperature is the best for the system.

As for me, any weather, be it hot or cold, it's warm water and that's the essence of this thread, to know if it's healthy.

Do you know people who live up North ( eskimos, aboriginals ) here are indeed cold blooded humans ?

They mostly can do without jackets / coats/ gloves during winter and could stay for up to 2-4hrs straight outside below 40.

In other words , 's anatomy could be same too , her body temp is adapted to her environment temp ( Nigeria) ... I'm not joking

I'm not the only person, I tell you, I know about 2 people who are like that.
I've never been worried about it but my son now refer to me as a rare and special specie of human being, hence, my question: Is it healthy? So that I can either be able to educate him or change, if possible.

These people you are talking about, do they sweat, if no, then our anatomy differs, because I sweat a lot, but then, even if I'm sweating profusely, it's still warm water, except I'm taking a soft drink or fruit juice, which I prefer cold, but water, it must be warm, so used to it.
Back to my question once again, is it healthy or not?

I believe they sweat when they're in warm region ..... And I guess that explains your own too, you do know your system will react according your environment it's subjected into? An Eskimo up North will not sweat as much if his environment is cold.

I simply see it from ecosystem -Adaptation point of view, you are a product of your environment.... I'm sure if Byvan don't have a choice she would settle for same too.

Have no fear,there is nothing wrong in drinking hot water. I have one exactly like u in my family. She goes to work with flask filled with hot water and baths with almost hot water at any session and she is a medical doctor.
She is living in a very hot zone right now and drinking hot water continues for her.

We r all wired differently u know.
