Maybe the world of Tecno Android smartphones have come to stay for good. Tecno-mobile have added yet another low-end Android P5 Device to it's series of Smartphones. The tecno P5 is such an alluring smartphone with exuberant substantial functions at a ridiculous\affordable price when compared to the likes of Samsung Smartphones or Sony Smartphones.

Operating System

The Tecno P5 is structured to run on Android 4.2 OS(jellybean) and this is indeed an immense upgrade to the Tecno Android P3 that runs on the 2.3.5 OS(Gingerbread). Hence, some apps that might not be compatible with the Android 2.3.5 of the Tecno P3 will definitely run on the P5 platform. Just as a reminder, one downside of most Tecno smartphones is that they are not upgradable, the operating system is stuck with the version it was modeled with.

Memory And Dimension

Though Tecno-mobile are radically stingy when it comes to internal memory and Ram, the Tecno P5 with it's ridiculous price was intuitively equipped with 4GB ROM + 512MB of RAM and can be expanded with MircoSD, up to 32GB .This is a great improvement, which will enable the games lovers,social media mongoose and other app freaks to install as many apps as they want. It also features a 124.3x65.5x10.5mm as the dimension which is slightly higher than the Tecno P3 which is 115.8*62*11.7mm.

Network and Processor

While the tecno P3 device,Tecno Q1 exhibit the normal 3G network, the Tecno p5 was stylishly endowed with 3.75G Band Network together with the usual 2G,3G network. With such an amazing improvement surfing the internet will become alot faster. A little improvement was also done to the processor capacity; the P5 was packaged with 1.3GHz Dual-Core processor.

Display

The tecno P5 device Flaunts a capacitive touchscreen of 4.0" inch with sharp well curved edges. In addition to that, Tecno-mobile also did an average upgrade to the Resolution as it was polished with 480x800 as the resolution, which supersede's both the tecno l3 and tecno M3. Thus a well defined graphics structure will be featured,with more sharp coherent pictures and videos.

Camera and Battery

Nothing so special about the camera. The tecno P5 has a 5.0MP AF Rear-facing Camera with a tiny block-like flash and a 2.0MP Front Facing Camera.Most people complain about the tecno M3 battery that is powered by 1400mAh li-on capacity though there are some little tips to help optimize your battery,the good news is, the tecno p5 has a slight improvement on that with a 1900mAh battery life, it's expected to last longer.

Moreover the Tecno P5 comes with all the normal tecno android apps such as, Facebook,Gmail,Memo,Gps,Wifi and rest.

512mb is not bad. Iphone4c self is 512mb. Its still gud 4 me.

ios is optimized to work with the hardware creating better usability and performance. android is not as much. 512mb ram on ios is enough for lag free usage and playing graphic intense games smoothly where as on android (since project butter)...

Tecno phantom a, m7 and n7 all come with 1gb ram. You can easily pick them up if you want 1gb ram phone. You can't buy a phone for 15k and expect 1gb ram.
