Nigerian Pastors And Their Many Contradicting Preaching Should Stop! by Nobody: 2:22pm On Sep 22, 2013
It might be true that the muslims have a unique and one believe about their quran, but the reverse is the case in christian world, if we like it or not Nigerian pastors/preacher dnt even agree on one believe about the bible, they all have different views about it making some christians feel superior to the other! I cnt forget their many preaching that contradicts each other, some would preach the use of earring, necklace and use of trouses by ladies as a sin! While some churches adores these things like their life depends on it, some choristers in big churches even wear trouses to minister on sundays! Some pastors would say tithes should be paid, while some dnt collect tithes@all, some would ask us to curse our enemies while some would ask us to pray for them, as for catholics they hold to their belief that their many images isnt a sin even while the bible said it is, celestial hold their belief on their candles and the way they treat menstruating women. Some pastors claim there is hell while our very own jehovah witness claim there is not! We believe being in a relationship with a guy/lady is the best way to know each other bfr marriage but some pastors say boyfrnd and girlfrnd isnt found in the bible so its unbiblical, i wonder if cars and jets are inside bible too. Even these pastors envy the sucess of their co pastors, these are the very people we expect to be filled with higher Annointing of God that should make them have a devine knowledge of the word of God instead they leave their members and bench warmers confused right in the midst of christian world! I wonder what the christian association of nigeria is doing about this. Its high time Nigeria pastors agree on one point about the bible for the progress of christian world and not its backwordness.

Well said.
Truth is just in the lips of preacher.
So much for a self-evident god, huh?

God and religious truth is whatever anyone wants to make them.

he is not a self-evident God.. you being alive now is by his will and grace...

truth is in the mouth of all the people that know God..without God,what you regard as truth is a product of ignorance....

God is not what we make him, me and you are what he want us to be,the choice is yours to accept it..
religion might be that..Christianity is not a religion but a lifestyle.. so,I don't know about your that.

The truth is that some churches are reducing the standard of God so as to get more members, remember more members, more money.
But Jesus is the same, yesterday, today and forever. Heb.13:8.
We have one spirit of truth, but people choose to interpret the bible literally without the understand from the spirit. Also, false spirit gives false meaning to those with a reprobate heart.

Yes. I suppose Jesus and god are the same today, yesterday and forever. But, our perceptions of them keep changing today, yesterday and forever too.
So,if we have never gotten it right, and may never get it right by virtue of our changing perceptions, then doesn't it show that religion is superfluous and redundant?

OlamiB: It might be true that the muslims have a unique and one believe about their quran,

Muslims have their contradictions. Why is Egypt fighting the extremity of brotherhood let alone al Qaeda deeper extreme.

In Christianity there's one faith ,one baptism ,one God ,one spirit . That's all that count . We may have doctrinal differences based on our knowledge. But those are minor things
. We should focus on the major thing where we agree , and leave the minor as personal between ourself and God alone. Growth is progressive. The early apostles had their doctrinal differences too . So We must accept one another on the account of Jesus blood where we agree. Remember . . . .. One faith. . . .

Ephesians 4:5-6
One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
