It is important that Mytv users re-scan their receiver, at least once every month to keep their channel list up-to-date. See how to scan;

1. Select a MyTV channel (MyTV Africa, MyTV Series etc.)
2. Press the “Menu” button on your remote control.
3. Go to “Installation” and Select it.
4. Enter your PIN; if you have not changed the PIN before the default PIN is “0000” (without the quotes)
5. Scroll down and Select “Manual Scan”
6. Under Satellite, Choose 68.5E Intelsat 20 (also known as Intelsat 7/10K), then under Frequency choose 12.522GHz / H.
7. Change the Symbol Rate from 26.657 to 29.950 MS/s
8. For network search select “On” and Press OK to Scan.
9. Once scan is complete, press “Exit” to save your newly scanned channels.

tnx for d info,coz I have mytv and nobody has given any info on it coz am using an hitv decoder,but wanna ask a question,aside from this Christian channels is there no oda channels lik movie channels,sport,documentary or cartoon?

@tmicheal MyTV's strength is with entertainment. You've got stations like MBC Action, MBC Max, and MBC2 for top quality movies and sport entertainment programs like WWE and MMA. Trace Urban exists for music lovers (amongst others). However MyTV is not good in the sports department generally. No solid provision for football, tennis, boxing, etc.

@tmicheal And yeah, MyTV Toonz for cartoons. Not a bad station for kids. Better than Nickolodeon imho for children between 2and 6.

Please, are all this set ups still valid, because, I tried but to no avail? I have a 4669 III decoder with a 90cm dstv dish and lnb.
