What is Citanda?
Citanda is an online community to Discover, Enquire & Share things with people of similar interests.

On social networking sites like facebook, bebo, tagged, google+, etc, the core purpose is to connect you with people in your life, i.e. friends, family, colleagues, school mates, etc, and the conversations among people are informal. For example “How are the children?”, "Can we have a drink after work?", “Have you seen my wedding album?”, “I miss you so much”, “My regards to Dad & Mum” and so on, those are the languages that are frequent. Everything is all about intimacy.


In an online community that Citanda! belongs, the conversations are purely technical. People congregate around shared interests. Although, these people are likely not to be those you familiar with, but you all gather for a purpose – similar interests.
Although, connections could be established over time with those people, and relationships can be continued informally on various social networking sites like Facebook, Blackberry Messenger, Whatsapp, Google+, 2go, etc. But the first contact is established through interests you share, and that’s what Citanda has to offer you -- A platform to connect you with people that share your interests, but you may never have the chance to meet on your social networks due to their structures and settings.
