Nairaland Phone section has a moderator,at last.His name is Siena,residing in Uk.His name doesnt sound familiar down here in d Phone section,but we believe it is just a matter of time before we know to get to know him better.Lets see the rules and regulations he will spell out and how he will deal with those guys demanding outrageous money for 'Browse free on your computer for life'. Siena,our moderator,you are welcome,again!

It's about time the phone section had a moderator. he doesn't frequent this section as much as others (i.e cars and autos) but it's a better thing than letting any of you people moderate this section.

hopefully we'll see more intelligent discussions at play here.

PS: Moderators can ban also.

Its a welcome development. We've got so much junk threads here and y are u guys emphasizing on mod's ability to ban? If u dont break d rules, then there's reason for u to worry about a ban. you're welcome Siena.

If its true, then he is welcome but he is just a moderator. He cant stop us from breathing. So why una dey fear?

i think i came across a post made by uspry where she said the moderator cant ban. well dunno, it all depends on wht permissions are given to the Moderator member group.

Dual Core is correct that all moderators on NL has no authority to ban anyone. . .only Seun has his authority to ban anyone.

However in other forums where the forum administrators have their permission allowing their own moderators to authorize banning anyone, but not this NL.

As well as other forums has formed its own officers organizations such as managing directors, moderators, submoderators, ticket issuers, etc. where forum has very largest numbers of members more than 500,000 just like Facebook, myspace, hi5, etc. including computer programmers/webmasters, computer support services, goes on. . .

Every forum sites are different rules/regulations that are set by the forum administrators/moderators/managing directors. . .not the same as NL here.
