Hi Please advice I want to change my 03 vw passat engine oil wish engine oil should I use? over there where the car comes from they use mobil 1 synthetic oil and here in naija I don't think I can get that oil so wish engine oil should I use for better perfomances urgent please |

delaw4u: HiDownload the car manual online (Google it) u will see *which* engine oil is recommended for your car. Btw mobile 1 engine oil is sold in Nigeria. |

Mobil 1 is available in Nigeria.. but the main issue is not about Mobil 1 but the viscosity of the recommended oil. I have read lots of comments here where people just say 'go buy Mobil 1' There are different types of Mobil 1 based on viscocity. If manufacturer recommend 5w30.. and the mobil 1 u are buying is 0w40.. yes it would work but still not the recommended oil. My point is it doesn't matter if its Mobil 1 or Oando or Total or castrol.. so far it has the right manufacturer rating. |
