We all know Jesus was a Jew and should have had an Hebrew name. Yeshua was that name, as we all know Israel was a Roman colony during the time of Yeshua. In Greek writing the name "Yeshua" was transliterated as Iesous. which was copied in Latin as Iesus with a different pronunciation from Iesous. The English word "Jesus"-Jeez-or-s was derived from the Latin "Iesus". In Hebrew "Yeshua" means "to deliver" or "to help".
Another name error in the English Bible was "Joshua" whose name is really pronounced "Yehoshua" in Hebrew, meaning "to cry for help". Written in Latin as "Ieosoua" and then Joshua in English. In that sense shouldn't Jesus be Jeshua instead? Or even his original name should have been retained. If people could have corrupted his name as such, how much corruptions about the story of his life has been made?

According to some historians, the name Iesous was used to refer to both Joshua and Jesus in books of Greek language which the Romans spoke.

Note: The name "Iesous" has certain acute symbols(which my keypad doesn't have) for appropriate pronunciation.
