Today Is International Blasphemy Rights Day by MAYOWAAK: 1:51pm On Sep 30, 2013 |
"Every great truth begins as a blasphemy."- George Bernard Shaw. September 30th is International Blasphemy Rights Day. It is a day set aside by atheists, freethinkers, skeptics and others interested in freedom of expression to celebrate and promote the right to criticize religious beliefs without fear of being stoned to death, bombed, tortured or thrown in jail. Protect and promote the Right to Freedom of Speech, even if criticism hurts your feelings or perceived feelings of your Prophet or SkyDaddy, don't go on a violent spree, do not take away the right of another to express their opinions. Religion is not above criticism or satire. Happy Blasphemy Rights Day!
