Hmmm,this remind me of my NYSC days in Oshogbo in 199X. Well if i am still current,the best route should be Oshogbo-Akure-Benin-Onitsha-Owerri because the Oshogbo-Ife-Ondo-Ore-Benin-Onitsha-Owerri is having Ore-Benin as a death trap. Now on the distance per hour,1.5 hours to Akure,2hours Akure-Benin,1.5(max)Benin-Onitsha,Onitsha-Owerri 1 hour.Please note the journey hours could be smaller all depends on the Nigeria Transport minister;s advise. On the alternative,except you going on a private transport otherwise go through Ibadan and take Imo state transport service for a direct trip to Owerri. Don;t forget to say hello to Oshogbo for me. |
