He didn't tell his parents about the incident but told their gate man and he says he is only talking about it now because it is bothering him.

“It is bothering me. I know I cannot turn back the hands of time and the memory will live with me but talking about it now will definitely relieve me and I will be fine. I want to advise parents to be watchful and careful about people they leave their children with or who their children spend time with. It is very important.” He said.

Hmmmm. I am a victim of such too. Mine is evn worse bcus it ws frm both sexes. 8 - 10, twere two girls... Wen i ws 11 twas my gay neighbour.. It really hurts except wen u tell sum1 abt it. Evn ma parents are oblivious to this.

I dnt knw why guys cry foul when things like this happens to them. Did'nt you guys do mummy and daddy play when you where little..? I still remember two ladies @least 10yrs older than me did it to me then, anytime I remember, I just laugh at how silly they are cos they just wasted their time and not mine, the only reason why I would be concerned is if the person is a guy(gay) I would so finish him, cos I would never keep quiet, if I do not succeed in stabbing him myself, then he would definately be arrested.

Who would even try that shi!!t with me, even gay's sef dey look face.

@ Chanchitt, it's quite easy for you to say all of that because you are ignorant of the extent of psychological damage caused by sexual abuse to children.

All adults who are sexual addicts or have a perverse, twisted attituted towards sex have been sexually abused as children. FACT!

Parents owe it to their wards to be protective of them and educate them, giving them proper sexual orientation from age two! I learnt from a specialist of sex orientation that children are sexually active from age two shocked. We parents must therefore not give room to nonchalance towards our wards.

@Kerrilyyz: I feel sad at what you went through, not just the act of abuse but the fact that you couldn't share nor confide in anyone! That's the killing aspect! I implore you to open yourself to counselling and indepth mind renewing techniques. smiley

How did you arrive at the assumption that abuse in female children is easily detected unlike the male kids?

Most children will not talk for several reasons:

The abuser is highly respected, feared and trusted.

They have been manipulated by the abuser, through gifts or bullied to silence.

You shouldn't expect the child to talk if you haven't given them proper orientation on sexual matters.

The best way of detecting is by observing changes in the child's attitude. For instance, a once boisterous child will suddenly become reserved ( and ignorant parents will assume the child to have changed for good).
