Developing a chat app is not a small boy work o!!, you must be vast in server side programming cos your chat app will need connect to the port of the server so as to create seamless communication. With java this pretty simple.

thanks guys for the response to this thread, we have names like skype, ebuddy, 2go, eskimi, whatsapp and others.....if you noticed, these names are unique and identifiable online so i'll suggect somethig like ''WAWA'' or ''HALA'' for the app....@code eater, i like the proposed features hope we're going to see all that when the app is ready. and i'll suggest you update us on the progress made by posting screen shots for us to see and make our imputs.

guys any news on the development of our naija chat app.... those trying out something should poast screen shots of what they've done already...still waiting guys want to know how far

sorry guys that i've off line for some time now....my system had some issues......by the way,below aee screen shits of what i've been working on. its on visual basic though.....its just the front end of the app, anyone who can convert it to android should let me know
